Question by ~2 Hot 4 TV~: How does it feel to attend an all girl's high school?

I am in the process of transferring from my current charter high school, but I'm narrowing down the few schools I want to apply to. One in particular is an all girl's school, in which I have attended a co-ed school my entire life.The school sounds like it has a great curriculum and I'm not one of those girls who are easily distracted by boys. What I would like to know is the benefits and disadvantages of attending a same sex school from people who have ACTUALLY DONE IT.

Hi. I'm a senior at an all girls high school & honestly, I love it. I went to a co-ed primary school so I was a little worried about the change too, but I think its great. Its so nice to not have to worry about what you look like when you go to school or try to impress anyone. The girls are all really nice and accepting of one another & it makes giving presentations a lot easier when you don't have to worry about guys making jokes or making fun of you. You can also talk about "girl issues" which you obviously can't do at other schools. Anyway, I definitely think you should consider going to the all girls school. I think you'd like it!
