Did your parents influence your sex decisions MORE or LESS than school Sex Education? (class survey)?

If you could please help me on a school project. I am trying to find out whether kids feel their parents make an important role or not before engaging in sex.
Some kids feel their parents only tell them "don't do it" or "be safe" and leave it at that. Did your parents try to be open on this issue and make it seem like you should understand what it is first? Would you say a Mom, Dad or relative plays a bigger part in being a responsible sex partner?

When I was a kid my dad gave me that sex talk......I shocked him when i started telling him what i learned on the streets and from my friends.....My first time was a result of my partner it was a mutal thing she did not attack me but she was ready and i was ready so we did it.......I have no regreats....PS when i was picked up by the limo to go to my Senior Prom my dad gave me a condom and told me dont be stupid!!!
